Gabriela Carbó

Gabriela Carbó is a professional Spanish/English translator for community and international development organizations. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and International Development from McGill University.  

Gabriela has several years of experience working with international and non-governmental organizations in Latin America, Canada and the U.S. Her past work experience includes organizing and leading events and workshops, creating and updating program management documents, writing communications materials in English and Spanish and providing interpretation at events and team meetings. She has expertise in the subject areas of agricultural development, gender-equality, children’s rights, environment and climate change, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).   

Gabriela is passionate about intercultural communication. By applying appropriate grammar, syntax, semantics, style and terminology, she provides a seamless bridge between English and Spanish.
